天天630不拍梟雄拍時代,不是類型是造夢,格局打開,詩意澎湃。在史實的基礎上,發揮浪漫主義想象,試圖洞悉歷史的幽微。有意淡化呂、藍的梟雄色彩,集中於他們的發跡與羅曼史。避免了與九〇年代港產梟雄片的雷同,卻有王家衛式風格的影調。篇幅雖有143分鐘,還是顯短,只能是浮光掠影,尤其年代的跳躍是要追劇情的,敘事有斷裂感,羅曼史倒可以慢下來稍作停留。鏡頭很貼演員,表演得到最大檢視。有些回憶、幻覺和睹物思人的戲,像各式各樣的夢,總會忘記,但那個瞬間會記得。許冠文的英文總結性陳詞很精彩,和《搶錢夫妻》那段壹氣呵成的Last Tango異曲同工。很老派的film noir. "Everybody is drunk since the inception of this country. I've never seen anyone driving sober."
