玉米视频:開頭的錄像帶放映時電視倒影顯現出成年的女主的視角,開始女孩童年與父親的土耳其之旅,結尾再次從電視放映鏡頭慢搖回成年女主正面鏡頭形成完整的結構塑造,攝影機落幅通過剪接慢搖至另外壹個時空的父親手持DV鏡頭,完成作者私人性的連接。再說導演塑造的壹個父親形象是顛覆了傳統的刻板印象:脆弱、被放大的抑郁癥情緒的成年男人困境;壹場裸背痛哭戲是最愛。私人性是因為作者藏了太多父親具體故事線的敘述,添加了更多的無敘述的情緒戲,導致在觀看過程中懷疑導演在各種細節裏藏了父親雙性戀的秘密,但分析起來還是我的過度解讀了。但父親脫離故事「死亡」的暗示,倒是通過許多鏡頭展現:黑夜跑向大海、站在陽臺欄桿上張開雙臂以得到舒適的享受,過馬路時不顧大貨車的喇叭依舊若無其事的走過去等等都是對人物的塑造。幼童吃玉米窒息昏迷3.5@CineplexYongeDundas
